Our Products › Voluntary Insurance Plans

These voluntary insurance plans provide benefits directly to you and will help pay your non-medical bills (expenses that are not covered by your health insurance), such as mortgage, utilities, groceries and other basic daily expenses without wiping out your hard-earned savings. Due to the high cost of living in Hawaii, coverage under one of these plans will help protect your finances in case of major illness, surgery or medial emergency that will keep you out of work for a prolonged time.

Hawaii is one of the healthiest states in the nation, but we are not immune to diseases. Heart disease, cancer and stroke are top three leading causes of mortality in the state, which amount to more than half of all deaths each year, as reported by Hawaii Department of Health. These policies are the choice of many who want financial protection against unforeseen illness or accidents.

Premiums for eligible plans can be payroll deducted on a pretax basis so you save money on taxes while completing your health insurance coverage with our supplemental insurance plans.

CancerCare Elite   CancerCare Elite brochure

Cancer is the second leading cause of death in Hawaii. Because there are many non-medical expenses associated with the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, you may want supplemental coverage. Our CancerCare plans include benefits such as hospital stay, surgery, chemotherapy and transportation. A wellness benefit of $75 per calendar year for diagnostic tests is also included. Optional benefit riders are available for cancer diagnostics, daily coronary care/intensive care, and monthly disability. Visit the American Cancer Society website.
