Benny™ is a store valued card that allows you to pay for qualified health care expenses such as prescription drugs, physician/dental services, optical services, mail order prescription expenses and over–the–counter items. Simply present Benny™ to pay for the expense and the amount will automatically be deducted from your Medical Expense Account. Please keep all receipts as we may ask you to verify an expense.

Effective July 1, 2009 the IRS imposed new regulations for merchants. These changes will cause your Benny card to decline if you shop at stand-alone pharmacies and any non–IIAS compliant merchants such as Kaiser Arc Pharmacy, Queens POB pharmacies, Good Neighbor and Mina Pharmacy. Currently the only IIAS compliant merchants in Hawaii are K-Mart, Longs/CVS, Safeway, Times Supermarket, Walgreens and Wal-Mart/Sam's Club.
